DO use a Disc Lock. They discourage theft as they cannot be cut off as easily as traditional locks. 

DO place your valuables on pallets

DO leave air space around the perimeter to aid ventilation

DO NOT place boxes etc directly on the concrete

DO tuck fabric softener strips around items like sofas, etc; it is a natural rodent deterrent

DO NOT STORE food in the storage unit

DO NOT USE mouse bait, as this actually attracts mice seeking an easy meal

DO purchase insurance, through our website or through your insurance agent

DO take inventory and pictures of personal belongings for any future insurance claims

DO NOT assume your valuables are covered under your current insurance policies without consulting  with your agent
